FILMING LOCATIONS
The world of The Kingdom of Rexmonte was brought to life across a range of distinctive
locations, from sweeping mountain landscapes and wooded battlefields to castle interiors,
taverns, stables, and village streets. Each filming location helped shape the atmosphere of the
story, giving the film its sense of scale, history, and adventure.
Dover, Pennsylvania
Several key scenes were filmed at Crabtree Pictures Studios in Dover, Pennsylvania. This
location provided the setting for the Traveler’s break-in at the abandoned home, partial woodland
scenes featuring the Rexmonte patrol confronting Mortiri invaders, and interior tent scenes tied
to the kidnapping sequence.
The Dover studio location also helped create some of the film’s more intimate and atmospheric
interiors, including Witch Holly’s shack, the tavern interior, and the inn interior.
Doylestown, Pennsylvania
In Doylestown, Pennsylvania, the production captured interior scenes for Princess Monica’s
bedroom. These scenes helped establish a more personal glimpse into Princess Monica’s world
and added depth to the royal storyline.
Lewisburg, West Virginia
The Lewisburg, West Virginia Renaissance Faire location served as one of the major
backdrops for the film’s village and outdoor scenes. This location was used for the village
exteriors, exterior inn scenes, Ed’s knife shop, stables, and the Mortiri soldiers’ encampment.
Lewisburg also provided the setting for sweeping scenes of Prince Andrew, Squire
Christopher, and Princess Monica riding to confront the invaders, giving the film some of its
most cinematic outdoor moments.
Union, West Virginia
The mountains and landscapes of Union, West Virginia helped expand the visual world of
Rexmonte. Sweeping drone shots captured the natural beauty of the region, adding a dramatic
sense of place and scale to the film.
Union was also used for additional stable scenes, further grounding the story in its rugged,
medieval-inspired setting.
Altamont, New York
The exterior castle scenes were filmed in Altamont, New York, creating one of the most
memorable visual anchors for the film. This location also served as the setting for sword battle
scenes, including the battle between Ricky and Lucian.
With its strong architectural presence, Altamont helped bring the castle world of Rexmonte to life.
Lake George, New York
Interior castle scenes were filmed in Lake George, New York. These interiors added richness and depth to the castle setting, helping complete the world established through the exterior shots filmed in Altamont.
Mount Kisco, New York
The wooded kidnapping scene was filmed in Mount Kisco, New York. This location provided a
darker, more secluded backdrop for one of the film’s tense story moments.
